The First Moscow Fair of Afghanistan Products held from December 9-13, 2009 at All Russian Exhibition Centers in Moscow. The exhibition provided new opportunities for Afghan traders to get access to Russian markets and develop future business relations with Russian buyers. |

| Afghan traders from various sectors such as carpets, dried fruits, hanicrafts and leather products exhibited theirs products in the event that drew the due attention of a large number of Russia traders and buyers for five days. |

| Russian traders have shown keen interest in doing business with Afghan Traders, resulted in achieving several contracts in various sectors such as Marble, Mines and Carpets, Dried Fruits. Moreover, Afghan Carpet traders proposed the idea of setting up a permanent Carpet Market in Moscow to Afghan Embassy Officails in Russia. They greatly appreciated the idea and ensure their full support to Afghan traders in providing the basic facilities. |
| The event concluded successfully and almost all the exhibits worth around 500,000 USD were sold by the end of the exhibition |
