On the 24th of June, the food and handicrafts exhibition opened in the central office of AWBF in Kabul. In this exhibition, 67 associations and unions from different provinces had the chance to show off their products. This exhibition will be open for one month.
The opening ceremony included Miss Aziza Momand, Miss Gol Jan Zemari, Mr. Suleman Fatimie, Miss Anjoma and Mr. Said Azim Mustafa Hashemy, national business figures, company heads, representatives from NGO’s and the members of the Media.
The exhibition had on display over 200 high quality products made by members of AWBF.
The Afghanistan Businesswomen Federation was founded in 2004 by Afghan businesswomen associations. The Federation itself is comprised of 67 associations which are active in Kabul and other provinces. The federation also includes regional offices in Mazar-e-Shrif, Bamyan, and Jalalabad.
The aim of the federation is to promote and support the economic and social well being of businesses operated by women in Afghanistan. | |
